Thanksgiving Break...

Hola, hola holaaa...hi everyone! If you're reading this post...you've figured out by now that I'm MIA! Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, I'm taking a week long blogging break to enjoy some time with my family! I'll be back at it next Monday, Dec. 2nd.

"Michell's Weekly Pearl"...(how do I handle this)

advice column and a question on dealing with in laws
As always, I thank you for joining me for another edition of  "Michell's Weekly Pearl", where I seek to use Godly wisdom to offer encouragement. If this is your first time visiting, I'll tell you a little about my advice series. This is where you can ask me anything on marriage, women's issues, family matters, relationships, parenting, homemaking, or life in general. If you want an honest, biblically based, to the point answer, email me your questions via prowessandpearls@gmail.com (please put "MWP" in the subject area). I'll post your question, along with my answer, anonymously. Easy as that! I'll also delete your email once I've transferred your question. To read all the questions and answers in this series, you can do so (HERE).

Keep sending in those questions!!! In the meantime, read on to see what "How Do I Handle This" asked...

Happy Wednesday ALL!  Welcome to DYWW! Hope everyone is “doing themselves well”! Did I tell you how much I appreciate each and every one of you for taking time out every Wednesday to stop by and show me some love? Well I do!

Mastering YOU Monday...stay in your lane

mastering life by staying in your place
On our road to mastering ourselves and mastering life, we must learn how to stay in our place and be content with just that! Starting today, we’re going to once and for all get in, and stay in our own lanes! We never get to what God has called us to, because we’re so busy NOT doing what we’re suppose to do, but trying to get in someone elses niche.

God needs each and every one of us to be in OUR place so we can make the whole operation go!! If everyone is over here trying to be a teacher, then who’s taking care of

Happy "Hump Day" y'all!! Hope you all have had a wonderful week so far! I'm giddy because as my husband and I were coming back from dinner(with one of the sweet Believers and her daughter), we actually saw snowflakes...yep, right here in good ole' Columbia, SC! Whooohooo!! Okay, it didn't stick and it might have only lasted for about 10 minutes, then turned into freezing rain...but hey, don't steal my joy, lol!

Mastering YOU Monday...are You there?

guest posting about God's love for us
Hi everyone!  I’m guest posting over at the blog of my sweet friend Angel, who blogs over at "Sew Crafty Angel" . As a part of the “Mastering YOU Monday” series, I thought I’d get out one of my ancient post, polish it up, and reintroduce it. I hope it blesses someone, as when I originally wrote it, it blessed me. So if you don’t mind…please head over as I share about how our God is always mindful of us and that we're His favorite! Join me HERE!

And please join me in wishing our troops(active duty and veterans) *this includes our son-in-law Allyn Alston* a HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY!! Thank you for your service and dedication to our country, we appreciate you so much!!

Mastering YOU Monday...why should He stick around

mastering life by making God first
You can find me reading a self-help book every now and then(especially if it’s a “free” Kindle download). The problem is…I never seem to finish them! That could mean one of two things…either I’ve mastered the topic at hand OR I’ve given up hope that I’ll ever be cured of whatever my “work in progress” might be. I’d say it was the former…but more than likely it’s the latter! :-)
