"Doing YOU WELL Wednesday"! #3

an encouragement link up promoting community
Hey ladies!! We're on our 3rd "Doing YOU WELL Wednesday" link-up! I hope you all are making new friends! For all of you who are new to the partaaay...all you do is share with us what you're DOING WELL this week! *you don’t have to be a blogger to participate*  It can be anything…from making a career change,  to stepping up your walk with Christ, trying something new, changing your eating habits, asserting yourself…ANYTHING; no matter how big or small, as long as it’s leading you towards…DOING YOU WELL! We as women have gone most of our lives doing others well, but when it comes to doing ourselves well…we must admit, we have fallen short. The enemy wants us to
focus on all the things we just can't seem to get right in our lives...and when it's time to celebrate all the things we are doing right...he makes us feel unworthy, so we find it hard to celebrate ourselves! Who knows, you may have something that will inspire one of the other readers…and besides, we can all use some encouragement!!  Btw...I'm enjoying reading your lovely comments on how you're doing yourselves well! ;-) Join in on the conversation...please feel free to reply to comments made by others. As you can probably tell by now, this isn’t your normal linky-party. My goal is to create a community where we actually get to know one another and each other's blogs by connecting here on this link-up...where you’re not just a linked up post(if you get my drift). For all my sisters who don't have blogs, please leave your comment, so we can get to know you too! If you have a website or fan page, you can link those up as well. If you don’t have anything to share, you can still link up(I highly recommend you say something though, so we can get to know you, that's the point, right).;-)  You may still want to view some of the comments posted, as I'm sure they will inspire you! Each week I'll feature one of our fabulous participants! Our featured blogger this week is the lovely Chris who blogs over at The Mom Cafe...go over and show her some lovin'! Here are the rules:

  • If you follow me via GFC(Google Friend Connect), Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest,  please make sure to leave in your comment that you're following, so I can return the favor.
  • Leave your comment on what you’re doing well this week. If you’re a blogger, link up your blog(s) or any post you'd like so others can visit and follow you. Go visit other blogs and comment/follow. Try to visit as many as you can each week. Remember, we're creating a community here.
  • Please play fair(as I’ve seen so many bloggers in link-ups NOT do). If someone comments on/follows your blog…PLEASE return the favor! Remember, we're creating a community. Don't forget to let them know you're dropping by from the "Doing YOU WELL" link-up.
  • As I’ve stated, my goal is to create a community *I'm not trying to be redundant* where we come together to make new friends, connect with one another AND support each other's blogs...that's one of the reasons we blog, right? If your goal is to get followers for the sake of just getting followers…then, you may want to keep it movin’...ahem, I meant..this may not be the linky party for you. :-)
  • What are you waiting for ladies…get to linking!
  • Most of all...have fun, meet new friends and gain new followers, and while you're at it invite others to come...the more, the merrier! Don't forget to come back(same time next week)!
  • You can grab my "Doing YOU WELL"button if you'd like. It's right there on the side(keep scrolling down, you'll see it). Paste it either in your post, on your sidebar, or wherever you put your buttons!

    1. Oh yes, that's definitely a must! So many kids are coming to school having encountered so much warfare. Sad to say many of them come across too many adults who aren't attentive to their needs. The last thing they need is someone who isn't equipped to minister to them. Thanks so much Heather for caring enough for them to prepare yourself!! I'd say you're definitely doing you well! Thanks for linking up! Have a wonderful week! ;-)

    1. Good Morning to you Jamie! You're welcome, so glad you joined us! Oh, that's a good one! Patience is something I'm working on every day. I have to constantly meditate on James 1:4! Not only because I want to please Him, but also because I don't want to lack ANYTHING! Definitely a motivator to me, lol! Thanks for dropping by and linking up! Have a fantastic day as well! ;-)

  8. Mchelle, I am doing well. I am learning to be consistent with all I do. My week fast and prayer, the holy spirit revealed somethings I don't like. I am workng on it. Thanks love for hosting!

    1. Hi Sara! Consistency is something we all battle! When we begin something new or make plans to stay on track, it's so exciting at first. But then...life happens and we're back where we were.;-) One of the reasons I started this link-up was to help keep us all motivated and encouraged to stick with our goals. Oh yes, that's what fasting and prayer will do...allow us to hear ALL the things we need to change.;-) As we all are...working on it! Thanks so much for dropping by and linking up! Keep up the good work and have a blessed week! ;-)

  12. Doing well as this is my first blog link-up. Trying to break out of "doing things and keeping things for myself and sharing what I do."

I know that sounds weird, but for me it is something that I am trying to do more of.

    1. Hi Patrick! I'm so glad you picked MY blog as your first link-up, lol! ;-D Thanks for stopping by and linking up! Yes, that can be hard, but I'm glad you're breaking out of it...it would be a shame not to share your MANY gifts and talents with the world! :-) Thanks again and have a blessed week!

  13. Thanks for hosting. This week, I'm working on "bringing my bread basket" when I pray for bread. Praying without expecting is useless!

    Hugs,
    Meredith

  14. Haha...love it!! That's right Meredith...not only useless, but religious also! What's the point, right? Unless, we just want someone to see that we know how to pray, lol! Thanks for dropping by, linking up and sharing! Kudos for doing you well!! Have a wonderful week my friend! ;-)

  15. This weekend I drove to Miami to complete a half marathon literally 3 hrs of sleep in 48 hrs. My instincts have been telling me to keep pushing through the week. Yesterday I decided to do what I advise my patients to do when they've over exerted themselves,,,rest. It's kinda hard keeping up with blogging, but I do what I can. I'm doing me WELL. Blessings,

  19. Thanks for the invite! This week - after a night of XXXX during a family meeting is to continue to drink in the Fruits of the Spirit, not fall victim to bitterness, anger, revenge, etc. To remain Christlike - listen and heed His voice. To focus on the numerous blessings of love from "His" family that He has blessed me with. To fall forward.

    I am linked and following!!!
