Hey my sweet blogging friends! Some of you have probably
wondered where I’ve been…I assure you I’m still alive! :-)
I want to first start off by saying how much I appreciate
each and every one of you! Back in January I mentioned the thought of hanging up
my blogging hat for good, but decided not to do that...and I'm glad I did! But, I’ve found myself
overwhelmed with life yet again…nothing bad at all. As a matter of fact, it's great awesome, as a result...I've got a full plate(not that I'm complaining)!! The months of March, April and May
have always been busy months for our family, but this year…we've got many irons in the fire.
For that reason, I just don’t have the time to blog like I want to(I know, I know…some of you are saying to yourselves…”but you only blog once a week”! Haha! Hey for your information, that’s A LOT for me! Lol! And well, blogging doesn’t JUST consist of blogging…but visiting other blogs, keeping up with social media, etc., etc....ya know. And that y’all…can become a lot, well at least for me…in this season.right now.where I am.
For that reason, I just don’t have the time to blog like I want to(I know, I know…some of you are saying to yourselves…”but you only blog once a week”! Haha! Hey for your information, that’s A LOT for me! Lol! And well, blogging doesn’t JUST consist of blogging…but visiting other blogs, keeping up with social media, etc., etc....ya know. And that y’all…can become a lot, well at least for me…in this season.right now.where I am.
I’ve said all of that to say…I'll be taking a break from blogging
for the month of March. This is VERY BIG for me and I hope I don’t lose any of
you as blogging friends as I cherish your friendship dearly! During my time off I’ll be working on
revamping, finding ways to improve my blog, ways to engage more with my readers
through social media, etc. Basically,
more for you…the people I do this for – the people who make this blog go! With
that being said, I’ll be coming back with a BANG! Lol! Of course, you can still connect with me via email, my personal FB page or Instagram.
The Bible tells us to whom much is given, much is required.
In this season, my family and I have been extremely blessed and given much from our wonderful Savior! Man, I tell you…He’s faithful, great and greatly to
be praised! With great blessings come great responsibilities...ALL of which I'm so excited about!! Because of this, we as a family have always committed our lives full time and
still are, to His Kingdom and to spreading His gospel! Serving God has always been my first priority, then my family, and after that my ministry. And I consider this blog as one of my ministries...so I hold it and all of you who have supported me dear to my heart. I thank you for understanding during this time
and pray you’ll join me back here…in this same spot ~ in April! As always, I love
and appreciate y'all so much!! I call you blessed!! And don’t forget you not only ROCK my friends...but you ROCK HARD!! XOXO.

Hi Michell; you will be missed dear friend! But during your break period I hope you achieve your heart's desire God has placed before you. Sometimes we just have to follow His prompting and direction and follow another path (and not overload ourselves with too much stuff when doing so!) :) Hugs and love sister; have a blessed March that's filled with great things, and I hope to connect again in Blogger world soon!!

We'll miss you, but I understand. I generally blog every 5-7 days and I find that hard to fit in. I'm amazed by people who can blog every day! Take care and best wishes to you and your family. : )

ReplyDeleteI will miss connecting with you each week on DYWW, Michell. But I completely understand the need to take a break. Kudos to you for knowing when you need to step away. We women try to do it all many times when we should take time for ourselves or focus on one thing at a time. You have my support whenever you decide to return to blogging. You fill a need in the blogosphere so I hope you will return. Take care and God bless you, your family, and your ministry.

ReplyDeleteI've got the e-mail subscription so you won't lose me. I definitely understand. November through Feb are crazy busy for us. Things are starting to level out now. Whew. I'll still hit you up whenever I come to the area. It's been a minute now. But since my parents are retired they come here more. And we avoid SC like the plague during pollen season. It's bad enough here but we come there and just get sick. So maybe I'll meet you in May. LOL!

I just did a post explaining that I may not be able to answer each comment because time is becoming a premium. We all go through those 'busy seasons' and they are great things. I pray that you enjoy what God has generously placed on your plate!

Hi Michell - You will be missed, but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do! One of my posts this week was about learning to say no or not now or not anymore. We don't like to say any of those things, but sometimes life demands it. Hope you have a refreshing break from blogging.
