Mastering YOU Monday...college, life and change oh my!


Betcha thought I'd never come back to blogging...you and me both! Wow! I’ve never taken a five month hiatus from my blog before; needless to say, I’ve missed writing, but most importantly…I’ve missed y’all!!! I must admit though, I stayed away from anything dealing with blogging while I was away. Pretty much off of social media as well.  Life just kinda gets like that sometimes…ya know.

WOW! You can say I’m coming down from what some may call a “wedding high”! So amazed at the goodness of the Lord! He literally stopped the rain so that our daughter could have the outside wedding she dreamed of; even though the weatherman predicted there would be a 50% chance of rain (He’s faithful like that, you know)! ;-)  He taught me so much about His love for us; in how He maneuvered the clouds so that we could have the perfect overcast from the sun for the 7:00pm ceremony on the terrace of the EdVenture Children's Museum, to how He stopped

Last week marked a milestone in the life of our family. It marked exactly one month until our oldest and only daughter gets married. For anyone out there who has ever experienced this, you know exactly what I mean. As a mother with a daughter, it is something that we dream about their entire lives.
