Mastering YOU Monday...lessons I've learned

lessons learned using Godly wisdom throughout my marriage
As some of you may know, my husband and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary! If you asked me 25 years ago where I would be today…I couldn’t promise you I’d be here.  Why? Because our marriage was definitely NOT the conventional one!

You see, I met my husband on Oct 14, 1988, the first month really didn’t count(because, as he puts it, I detested him), lol. However, I  have a different opinion!

1989...25 years later!

celebrating 25 years of marriage
Happy New Year!! I'm baack and I've missed you all!! A day late, but hey, I've got a good reason! Today my husband and I are celebrating our 25th(Silver) wedding anniversary...a way to start off the new year! Whoop whoop! Okay, for all of you who thought you were coming over here to read some mushy lovey-dovey 25th Anniversary post about how much I love and adore my husband, sorry, you won’t get that on this go around! Mind you, I absolutely love and adore my husband, but I thought I’d go against the grain for our 25th Wedding Anniversary(that’s just the kind of gal I am)! :-)

Most are serious, some are humorous...but more than anything, they have helped build our marriage. Enjoy!

Our Daughter's Day

our daughter's wedding
WOW! You can say I’m coming down from what some may call a “wedding high”! So amazed at the goodness of the Lord! He literally stopped the rain so that our daughter could have the outside wedding she dreamed of; even though the weatherman predicted there would be a 50% chance of rain (He’s faithful like that, you know)! ;-)  He taught me so much about His love for us; in how He maneuvered the clouds so that we could have the perfect overcast from the sun for the 7:00pm ceremony on the terrace of the EdVenture Children's Museum, to how He stopped
